While poking around the applications on the Raspberry Pi, I discovered a very useful text/programmer editor named Geany (geany.org). I pulled in a MMBASIC program and the Geany sidebar displayed the names and locations of functions, subroutines, variables and constants within the source code.

It shows the line numbers of these items and lets you jump to their location in the file by simply clicking on the name of the item of interest. Keywords within the file are displayed in bold text. It appears to also "hold" the indentation.

Geany appears to be an IDE (Integrated Development Environment). I'm running it on both Raspian and Windows 7. Now to find a way to send the file to the eXtreme!
