After looking at my logs (simple recording of actual readings from the meter every night to a excel spread)i actually have a "peak" and "of peak" amount..

The meter i have is a "i-credit-400" it`s not a smart meter rather a electronic "interval meter" + optical port reader.

So the Question is: As per verbally speaking with Origin that said there is NO change to my billing structure, it will remain the same for me (no peak/of peak)

It would terrify me if i will be billed based and the 2 tariff rates.
(although the sat/ sun cheap rates may be good)

will see when the bill comes in in JAN

hhmmm better yet i will ring them to to confirm..

make 16 KWH yesterday! here in melb (1980 system)
after my usage i fed back and made $3.18
not to bad....

While we are talking import export and solar.

Yesterday some of my house figs look like this.

Solar produced 19.9kWhr, wind 0.9kwh. Total house consumption 8.3kWhr. Import from grid of 1.8kWhr. Battery supplied 2.8kWhr, and 3.7kWh had to come from the solar. Exported around 17kWh. Made over $10. The key is to reduce the power consumed during the day, so the solar can be exported at the peak rate.

Gordon.
