Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

The panel will be close to 20C above the ambient, so the panel would be at around 60-63C on a hot summers day, at midday.

Yes it was pretty close to 25C the other day, when I estimated 45C by the feel of them, but there was a bit of a breeze blowing at the time.

It all depends on the windspeed, and no doubt also, to a lesser extent, the humidity.

I have measured 60-62C on my panels (with a non-contact IR thermometer) often enough, they get to that temperature in ~35C ambient and minimal wind. My panels are completely open to the wind with an open framework behind them on the tracker.Edited by Loomberah 2010-04-08
