I'm wondering where I can find information on where the 6x8 font used in CMM2 originated? I understand that all the fonts used in CMM2 are public domain, and I have taken rather a shine to this font - nice choice by the way.

I can't find the font listed here, which is where I (perhaps wrongly) understand all the CMM2 fonts came from:
