Hi Guys
Currently when I connect my laptop to my CMM and enter via Tera Term I find that I am connected to the A: drive.

What is the correct instruction syntax to have this default to the B: drive (SD Card).
With the autorun file in B: the file is not found after a power fail.
I have no idea how this changed.
I tried the Drive instruction but it doesn't seem to work.

This below is attempting to change the default drive in a Explore 64
> DRIVE "B:"
Error : Unknown command
> ? MM.DRIVE
Error : MM.DRIVE already declared

Is this instruction the same for my Explore 64 and CMM.

MM+ manual pages 6 & 19 for the Explore 64.

I think drive letters are not supported or needed as it can access only one card.

Though there is mention of limitations with exFAT causing paths to just show as A:/ so perhaps A:/ can be an optional prefix of paths.

No.  The Explore 64 does not have "drives".  So you cannot use "A:", DRIVE, etc.

On the original Colour Maximite you can use drives and the the default on power up should be "B:".

Do you have an SD card inserted?  Perhaps you have a hardware fault in the SD card connector or a faulty card.

You could try creating the file AUTORUN.BAS with a single line in it saying DRIVE "B:" and saving that file to drive "A:".  But that should not be necessary.

Thanks Phil99 and Geoffg.
I suspect you might be right Geoff as I was updating the wiring and maybe something happened that I wasn't aware of.
I need to download this month's data at the end of the month and will check it out then.
Thankyou both for your quick replies.
