Hello @all ,
i found these chip-familiy on digikey. Can mmbasic run on these chips?

PIC32MX1XX/2XX/5XX 64/100-PIN FAMILY

Not as-is but why would you? These chips are poor relations of the MX470 which is fully supported by Geoff and has the same footprint(s)

Hi Peter ,
thanks for your answer.

I have a project that is a little tight with the 44-pin and for that I would need a port expander, like the MCP23017 or MCP23S17.
I would have been interested in the 64-pin chip and the internal 50Mhz would be enough.
As few components as possible should also be used, i.e. no quartz and as few capacitors as possible. --> cost reduction

44-pin PIC32MX170F256D-50I/PT --> € 5,12 --> port expander needed
64-pin PIC32MX170F512H-50I/PT --> € 6,68 --> fits as is
64-pin PIC32MX470F512H-120/PT --> € 8,10 --> quarz needed
