PIC32Lua project is frozen and author have no plans for adding support for other peripherals as I2C. Also Bogdan Marinescu form eLua project does not intend to do a port for PIC32 (ARM is his permanent choice). Other than some discussions, I saw nothing from the eLua members...

Still... today (the date of the post) I found something which it appears to be a tentative to port eLua to PIC32 and ChipKit boards... Can be this for real? BTW, why PIC32Lua is not considered to be a good starting point?

Hello,

Take a look at: http://www.askrprojects.net/software/pic32lua/index.html
It runs great on my Max32 board! EASY installation too and it won't overwrite the
bootloader. Talk about "running on the metal", it does!

I have a Arduino GLCD (color display with SD slot in back) that runs SP1 that I
want to try connecting, but it is 5V and the pins are labeled in a odd way. I still
think it can be done.

I love my new CGMMSTICK1 too, but there isn't anything wrong with having multiple irons
in the fire! (I have a few Arduino's hanging around too...)
