I see some mentions of beaglebone black ...
any comments, views etc? The specs look pretty good
at first glance at least, eg a 12-bit A/D, 2000 mips,
512 memory etc but a user-usage report would be good.
Its mainly linux and C I guess.

Cheaper to use a CubieBoard or CubieBoard2 ?

How do the Olimex Allwinner etc boards compare?

The cb2 price looks similar(both cortex ARM) but the chips
were targeted slightly differently I think.
Looks like there are a number of super-fast cheap Linux boards
now, needing a simple way forward and some quick overviews

The bbb sounds good. They all do!

I do know the Allwinner docs are quite poor so if the TI ones are better / Linux support is better then that may be the way to go.

I was put off when bbbs were shipped with a different chip and "only" 720MHz. (Check you don't get old stock!)
