Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Essentially. in the end - every computer language is Binary :)

It's just the steps one takes to get there.

Good point!
Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops!

Actually - one of my favourites comments re troublesome computers is...

"Grasp power cord firmly in both hands and execute a Non-Maskable Interrupt"

Problem is I having to explain what a NMI is more and more :)

It is what the TRS-80 used for a RESET (jumped to address 66 -- I think)

Oh I know what it means.. but most people around computers don't know assembly language or OP Code terms :)

It's a humorous line along the terms of

"Try and MASK That you Bugger" *YANK*
Usually followed by a little ORAC type Whine

:)

I didn't realise H-A-D or jack were the way mentioned and left a brief comment a few days ago correcting his "facts" and pointing out I'm the author of the programmer and it's in C, but I see it's not been published.

That itself says something very bad about H-A-D.
