Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Is that the capacitor you want to put on pin 19 and 20? Because there are better and cheaper alternatives available like a 10uF/16V X5R Multi Layer Ceramic Capacitor that can be had for around 0.30US$. If it is used as an capacitor on the power rails you have to consider that when used on an USB connection the recommended maximum is 10uF total capacitance on the USB power rail to prevent large inrush currents. Microblocks. Build with logic. |

> Is that the capacitor you want to put on pin 19 and 20? Thanks. Yes. Seems the multilayer are SMD types. I want to simply plug into breadboard. This for power "Inrush" on the chip itself is my concern (Now that you mention the term ) |

The SMD types are not that small (1210). For breadboard use i just solder them on a 2 pin header. Microblocks. Build with logic. |

That capacitor is OK and will not hurt the Micromite. Geoff Geoff Graham - http://geoffg.net |
