Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi All, I don't believe Geoff has released a Ver 1.2 that includes a bootloader.. (If I am wrong my apologies). If I have an MX250 already updated to Ver 1.2 and read this into MPLAB IPE then export the HEX file would this save the bootloader component as well? Reason I ask is I am about to post my MuP-VT board and if I have to burn any chips I would rather not have to do 2 processes to get to the latest version. Besides I have a MuP (ver.1) fitted with a ZIF socket, to protect the pins from damage by being inserted into a socket, as my programming rig. I have to do the work to build an integrated firmware + bootloader hex file. Give me a day to work on it. Geoff Geoff Graham - http://geoffg.net |
