I have fixed a number of outstanding bugs in V4.5 for the MX150 series of chips (the original Micromite). The most serious being with the I2C system and the second related to errors in reading from a digital I/O pin after measuring an analogue voltage on another I/O pin. Details are in the Change Log.

The new version of the firmware is called V4.5E and is available for download from http://geoffg.net/micromite.html.

Note that new designs should use the Micromite MkII firmware running on the MX170 series of chips as I only plan to fix bugs in the original Micromite firmware for the MX150 (ie, not add any new features).

Thanks Geoff,

I'm still writing code for some 150 LCDuMite modules in use here as PEMF drivers.
When those are used up I plan to only build 170 modules as you suggest.
I'm running behind but I do plan to send you a 170 ZonkerMite and a 170 LCDuMite (when I get the latter built).

Happy New Year to Geoff and everyone !!!
2015 should be a great year for the 170 MicroMite projects.

I just programmed a 150 yesterday - good timing, Geoff!

I will update it to the new version.

EDIT: Actually, I am somewhat amazed that you would even take the time to update bugs in a chip that has been replaced by a go-faster model. Thanks for taking the time. Those of us with stocks of 150's can then still use them. Edited by Grogster 2014-12-30
Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops!
