Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Not sure if I should start a new topic or use matherp's - MM2: 2.4" SPI Colour Touchscreen topic. Anyhow here it is as a new topic!

I have purchased 4 : TFT 2.4" Touchscreens from the link on matherp's topic.
I am having no luck in getting 2 of them to work (Not game to get the others out of their packaging).

They are breadboarded as the following image shows.

Can anyone see any problems? I have the jumper referred to closed and I measure 3.3v on pin 1 of the display. As this is the first time I have used SPI I have no idea what voltages I may be able to measure on other pins.

How do you best solve a problem like this?

I have successfully loaded all 3 of matherp's programs using MMedit into the uMite and can also edit etc from TT so I know it is not a uMite problem. uMite is running V4.6 .

Hoping someone can help.

There have been several problems successfully fixed by finding that the breadboard wasn't making good contact, only intermittent contact, or no contact at all. Have you checked this?

I can't see your connection to the LED pin.
I think it's pin 23 on your breadboard and needs a ~18 ohm to 5V or 3.3V

I was aware of this issue and rewired with new wires in a different position on the board.
