Description:

The SB240 is one member of schottky barrier rectifier diodes with some features such as:(1)high current capability;(2)high surge current capability;(3)high reliability;(4)high efficiency;(5)low power loss;(6)low cost;(7)low forward voltage drop.And the mechanical data of it are:(1)case:DO-41 molded plastic;(2)epoxy:UL94V-O rate flame retardant;(3)lead:axial lead solderable per MIL-STD-202,method 208 guaranteed;(4)polarity:color band denotes cathode end;(5)mounting position:any;(6)weight:0.339 gram.

The absolute maximum ratings of the SB240 can be summarized as:(1)maximum recurrent peak reverse voltage:40 volts;(2)maximum RMS voltage:28 volts;(3)maximum DC blocking voltage:40 volts;(4)maximum average forward current:0.375", 9.5mm lead length:2.0 amps;(5)peak forward surge current,8.3ms single half sine wave superimposed on rated load (JEDEC Method):60 amps;(6)maximum forward voltage at IF=2.0 amps:0.5 volts;(7)maximum reverse current at rated DC blocking voltage:0.5 mA;(8)junction temperature range:-65 to +125ˇăC;(9)storage temperature range:-65 to +150 ˇăC.

I would delete it. I don't see this form of advertising being relevant anywhere and These diodes are pretty poor. 0.5V loss for 2A and only 40V rated.

I dont mind a heads up on stuff we could use, but this is a rather useless diode for our application here, and would hate to think a newbie might buy these thinking they were a good choice.

If the poster added a RR-Price then it could fit into the Price watch page otherwise it is just SPAM.

Now .....weeqoo.....sounds like what you find outside the ladies toilets.
