Nimm einfach den USB-C Port und Stecke den in den PC, dann hat der PiCo3 Strom und du ein COM-Port am PC für z.B. Tera Term.
Viel Erfolg.

Just use the USB-C port and plug it into the PC; that way, the PiCo3 will have power and you’ll have a COM port on your PC for Tera Term, for example.
Good luck.

Hi Matthias!
Thanks for the tip. That’s what I had initially thought and tried as well, but no COM port was created. After your tip confirmed I was on the right track, I tried it with the other two PC3 units, and it worked there. So, I resoldered the USB-C port under the microscope (carefully applying solder paste and flux, then lightly going over it with a battery-powered soldering iron). Now everything is working.

Hallo Matthias!
Jetzt funktioniert alles.
Best wishes! Joachim

My board has just arrived. A quick test (Lemmings/Chuckie Egg) worked straight away. Thanks again for all your effort.

Hello Matthias,

the package arrived today here in AT and when unpacking I was almost speechless. You did an exceptional job preparing the PC3 with the box. And I've rarely seen such a professional packaging. I'll power it up tomorrow, today I've to celebrate my girlfriends birthday.

Thank you once again for the super job and all the effort you took to make us happy. It worked for me !!!

Regards,
Gerald

Hi Matthias,

my package arrived too—and there was a surprise on top that I was really happy about. I can really use the adapter board—thank you so much for it.

My first functional test was on a second monitor, which had no problem with the set refresh rate of 75 Hz (OPTION RESOLUTION 640x480 @ 315,000 KHz).
I then simply switched to 60 Hz (OPTION RESOLUTION 640,252,000).
After successfully setting up the Wi-Fi, I was able to “remotely control” my new Pico Computer 3 via PuTTY and a Telnet connection ;)

During further testing, I also discovered that the PicoMiteHDMIWEB firmware unfortunately only supports MODES 1, 2, and 5. But that’s sufficient for testing.

In any case, all my programs for the MMBasic tutorial are working.

Thank you very much for everything,
Manfred

Hi Manfred
I pointed that out to Peter as well; what’s more, in the pre-installed web version, layers N and L are mixed up. Peter plans to sort it out at the weekend.
das habe ich auch bei Peter angemerkt, ausserdem sind in der vorinstallierten WEB Version die Layer N und L durcheinander. Peter will das am Wochenende fixen.
Nocheinmal Danke an Matthias für die Mühe

Gruß
Martin

The display on HDMIWEB is restricted to make room for the web stack. The RAM had to come from somewhere.

Thanks Martin for the modified box.

As I will make the boot switch as well as the hub enable/disable switch accessable from outside with the lid closed this is a perfect base to go on.

Hello,

I’m glad to hear that all the parcels sent out have arrived safely. Just to remind you, the firmware is the one with the WEB component, which allows you to test the hardware using the profiler. It’s also a BETA version and still has some bugs. I’d already noticed the issue with the layers, but forgot to report it.

Sorry for the confusion. But you’ve already installed the right firmware/OS, haven’t you?

As there were requests for it, please find attached the ZIP file containing the adapter.

Hi Matthias!
Thanks a lot for making the Gerber files available. I believe your labeling is correct, as I assume that—in Peter's design—the position of the square solder pad indicates the location of Pin 1. I’m going to figure out how to use the board in the PC3's other orientation by labeling the solder side and using a differently configured ribbon cable. I’ve also attached a screenshot comparing your layout with mine. I still need to route the traces more tightly to match your width; currently, there is a 3 mm difference.

Best wishes! Joachim
