Hi

some one has tested micromite (or micromite+) on this news chips

pic32MX170F512

there is 2 chips, one with 64pins, and other with 100pins
all of them with 512k flash mem

I think that you are asking has anyone tried the MM or MM+ firmware on these chips and my guess is that the answer is no and my further guess is that it would not work or provide any advantage over the recommended chips.

The Micromite firmware is tied to specific chips and their characteristics. It is not like Windows which can reconfigure itself (Windows is about 10,000 times larger than MMBasic).

You are right
but the first reading of the data sheet seems to show that these circuits are identical to the mx170f256, just more IO and more memory. After may be, it's easier to use an mx470
I will study the datasheet more seriously to see if there is an advantage to use this chip
