High by the Lighthouse Family.
Now, just a jump to the left, Timewarp from the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Unchained Melody by the Righteous Brothers. I believe one of them died recently :(
Ti Amo by Laura Branigan

Good music to relax to.

Googled Righteous Bros. Bobby Hatfield died 2003, whilst on tour. 60`s to 2003 bloody big tour, great music. Surprisingly also googled Unchained Melody, wasn`t a Righteous Bros original came from further back 1955. But their version will probably live for a long time.

Wild Fire! I like this song a lot, but my comment on youtube was this:
[quote]The song is amazing! My daughter likes it a lot! But the choreography was much. much more under Kurt's capabilities and talent. If I was DELL, I would have requested a remake. If Kurt is honest with himself, he can admit his failure.

Cute video, but too hoppy-boppy for my taste. This is NOT to take away from the song or those who like it. LORDE comes from New Zealand, and I don't like her stuff either, but having said that, if that is what people currently like, then they have a right to be where they are.

I cut off the Sam Tusi version of Journey's song - clever remake, but the original was a classic, and I guess I just don't like modern remakes!

Hells Bells - this thread is now 16 pages long with more then 10,000 views, so I can't actually remember if I have posted this one before, but here you go:

YANNI - Marching Season

This one has a great drum-solo, for those of us who like drums!

I am going to have to catalog this thread, so that I don't post any more double-ups!

STEPHANIE TRICK - Ragtime Piano

This is one very talented girl. Note that she is playing this WITHOUT music... This video shot while they were setting up for an interview - wow. She can really play. Annoying, isn't it, how some people just have a natural talent for things....

...yeah, yeah - this is not a "Video", so I will get back to that now...Edited by Grogster 2014-08-03

99 Luft Balloons by nena. I prefer the german version to the english version.
The Air That I Breathe by The Hollies, Mellow.
Albatross by Fleetwood Mac.
American Pie by Don McClean. I don't really remember any other songs he did.
Aquarius by the 5th Dimensions. From the peace and love movement, something the world really, really needs now.
At Seventeen by Janis Ian. Knew everything at seventeen, what happened?

It looks like this is the end of this thread, so I just want to thank everyone who added their own thoughts, and their own favourite videos to this thread.

Many thanks, and "Party on, dudes!" (Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure)

Bye, bye.

I doubt that would be allowed for reasons of copyright, but thank you for the suggestion anayway.

So long as this thread remains, and the links within are not taken down at the other end, then all the songs are just a click away.

EDIT: Anyone can download their own copies of the videos using the likes of YouTube Video Downloader , which is free, and can suck a copy off YouTube and other sites, to your local machine - this is what I have been doing with most of the songs linked to here. There is a paid version of this program, but I have found the free one is perfectly suitable for my purposes.Edited by Grogster 2014-09-08

Now as it seems we are in the eve of war time gone past has these tunes that can seem more relevant to the modern day as isn't this History Repeating

Now are we on the Eve of Destruction So we may have to Get out of this place and when we think we are clear whats happen we get Stuck in the middle with you so we might just have go and sit on the dock of the bay. Now after we can go for a walk down Baker street. Now as it's the Summer time we find a Long Cool Woman in a black Dress then walk along we we have to say Brandi your a fine girl as it is late and the sundown don't start pickup the pace we may have start Reelin the years only to be Blinded by the light then to find guy a saying you aint seen nothing yet so checkout this out centrefold But we go on to find those Betty Davis eyes
and have a Total Eclispe of the Heart only to find a guy saying It's my life

Now as everything seems to turn around do we go to The house of the rising sun and find a Proud Mary the next house down found the the sultans of swing who then go to sniff some cocaine and after that we are Marooned

So that is the end of tonights journey

Enjoy

BUMP!!!!

But seriously, I was going over the excellent music in this thread tonight, and it made me think that PERHAPS this thread deserves a revive.

I rather like this song depicting the utter lies of the mass-media that profess to be the arbiters of absolute truth.  They are ALL liars.

Genocide...
