About the site.
I'm a car enthusiast, I've owned many 70's cars, including 3 Datsun 1600's (510), and a Holden HQ Monaro. As I grow older I've grown to appreciate these older vehicles, and I know how difficult it can be to source parts for them.
I built this web site because I could see a genuine need for it. While there are facebook groups and other social media sites to help people, like me, buy and sell old car parts, they cant be easily searched, and the posts soon disappear.
I wanted something more robust, more permanent, a database of parts I could search. I'm also a software developer. So I put my interests together and built this web site.
The aim of this web site is to help you find a part, or sell a part. The web site has a searchable database of parts wanted and parts for sale, with contact details of the person wanting or selling the part. You can search the database by make and model, and even search by engine or chassis number if you are looking for the exact part. The database also contains parts that were stolen from the owners, maybe you can help.
Its free to use this database. You can search the database as much as you like, and if you become a member, you can add up to 10 items ( either wanted or for sale ), all for free. If you want to add more than 10 items to the database, contact us and we'll see what we can do. As a member you can also receive email notifications when a part you're looking for is added to the database. Membership is free, and you only need a valid email address to join.
This web site stores the following information about its members: Email, phone number, name, and a password. Only a email and password are required, the others are optional. We advise users to use a unique password for this site to increase their own security and reduce the risk of identity theft.
Signed up members are allowed to post information about automotive parts they wish to sell or buy. By becoming a member of the site, you agree that...
