I'm with you about the whole updating thing! I use Altuim and can say the number of useful additions since DXP came out (which is what I use, despite having access to every single update and new release since then) is pretty much zero!
I am very interested in FreePCB, but my concern is translating my designs across from Altuim. As you run both, what are your experiences in doing such a thing?
Also, you mention no problems with your Chinese PCB manufacturers... who are?
I am currently looking for easy (trouble free) PCB manufacture and wondering who you go to? To me trouble free is far more important than "lowest price no matter what".
