I think you will find that the Chinese are very fiercely competitive, and if you shop around there are no significant differences in either price, speed of manufacture, or quality.

Some of the promotional offers to entice you away from a competitor can sometimes be worthwhile, but its usually a once only offer.

JCL can offer a super low price on boards that are exactly 100mm by 100mm. Any other size costs more, even if its a lot smaller.  They can add your board to all the other 100mm x 100mm boards on a continuously running production line that is fully automated.

If they have to cut boards to funny odd sizes by hand, that is a lot more work for them. If you want to make some boards smaller than that, just order it as 100mm x 100mm board and then cut it down yourself.
