Many thanks Bob, you’ve put me on the right track. I did not know rechargeables were available in this package format. For the life of me I cannot find any specs on the CR-2342 manufactured by Newsun or anyone else. Do you recall what capacity cell you have used in the past for replacement. I will try to coax the dead cell back to life as you have suggested.
