Hi Tony, Ben,
If that is the case, that it is a 12v car alternator and you need 48v and it is only 1amp
You could use a 150 w inverter and then generate your 48vdc from that.. a bit clunky but possible?
Ben, is this for use in a car or similar? Or on some other application?
