It's good to live in a world where we are spoilt for choice.
That UCC5350MC looks like the answer to my particular prayers. The Miller clamp in particular will be invaluable.
Poida have you considered driving the gate negative?
The component count increases by 1 single zener diode and the choice of dc-dc converter could be changed to a 15v or even 24v type.
