lizby Guru Joined: 17/05/2016 Location: United States Posts: 3659	Posted: 12:42pm 27 Feb 2022       I've also booted linux from a USB stick, but even if I am able under it to copy the file to where I want it, that won't help me when the next alpha is released (if I encounter the same problem). It remains a mystery to me how a laptop which I own and am administrator of, used by no one else, can suddenly say (after a Win10 update, which might or might not have caused the problem), that I don't have the necessary rights to copy a file anywhere on my hard drive.
