sin S + sin I = 2 sin((S+T)/2)cos((S-T)/2) etc.
It's the sort of thing that we were expected to remember at uni. and for some reason "S&T formulae" has stayed with me. I had to look it up
I do remember 1955 and trying to remember OHMs LAW.
It is a bit sad that all that maths has gone because I never used it other than to pass exams.
But I wouldn't have missed it for quids.
