The idea of the trim-pot is that it is so simple it can be retro-fitted easily and it is adjustable. When you want all the colours spin it back to zero, your not locked in so there is no loss of compatibility. Typical hardware engineer always looking for a hardware solution ... and I know you can throw that back in my face . Best wishes, Tom
