I have corrected the RTC setting etc as you suggested and the Error message 'SYSTEM I2C not configured' has now gone. I have OPTION AUTORUN ON at the top of the program together with OPTION EXPLICIT and OPTION DEFAULT NONE which come up preloaded on each new file, which I seem to recall is mentioned somewhere in the documentation. However it seems very hit and miss as to whether it Autoruns or not. I havn't worked out yet what the deciding factors are. Roy
