HI All
Major setback.
The engraver has spat the dummy.
I moved in the X direction more then where the engraver was usually used.
Motor stopped and made funny noises.
Thought it was perhaps belt coming off, but when I tried to rotate by hand it was very tight.
Once I got through that it was free all the way back and forth.
But the motor would not run.
Took the control box apart and checked each board for possible fuses.(that was hopeful for a Chinese machine)
No visible evidence, so suspect the motor driver.
Will ask the questions on Electronics thread.
So no routing until fixed.
