It looks as if the default setting for the backlight is not applied after a restart: BACKLIGHT n [,DEFAULT] BACKLIGHT 2,2 The backlight setting works, but is back to maximum after a restart... (tested on a RP2040 Geek and OPTION LCDPANEL ST7789_135, LANDSCAPE,GP8,GP12,GP9,GP25) Frank
