Hi Mick,
Power bank heating may not bring you much.
Minimum for a small fish tank is 25 watt. Appart from capacity (VA) it will be hard to find a power bank that can deliver 5A (5V).
Typical power bank will be (internal) 3.7V at 3-5A (12-18VA) and may deliver 2A...
