Your solution is fine, but I don't like that I now have to operate two switches instead of one.
Maybe you like my anotother aproach to solve the problem. I'm referring to the original diagram now, not the last modification:
Leave everything as it was, replace the on/off switch with DPDT. Use the second pole of the switch to discharge the 12V/5V caps in the off position. |
