It didn't get any further though.  :) And I know even less about it   . My ESP-01 didn't seem to be flashed at all. Hence my question at the time and I wasn't aware that there was an “original” firmware. Hence the solution I mentioned. At least it worked. Which of these files should be flashed and how?
