Is your alternator connected as single or three phase? If it is three phase connected then try changing the start point of each phase. In a normal electric motor or generator the phases start at the first coil, then the next phase starts after missing one coil group, then the next phase start is after another missed coil group. If you don't miss a coil or group of coils then your phases are not 120 degrees apart and the motor or alternator will not function. I am thinking that your phase relationships are out and you are not getting sine waveforms on each phase. good luck Pete |
