Here the price is about the same as a standard Pico so not really worthwhile unless desperately short of space, which is unlikely on a breadboard.

Likewise with the RP2350-Zero and Pico 2.


For the power supply I am designing I use the zero, becuase it has 4 ADC's, and a linear regulator. This allows the use PWM to set the power supply output voltage/current.

For the frequency counter I use the regular Pico, since it has more pins, I need. And with its buck/boost switcher I can run the whole counter of 2xAA batteries.

It is all in system design....
