Reset/empty string ARRAY$ ?

So, I created var inside SUB

LOCAL dirct$(255) length 16

Time to time I need clear/reset/empty values in array.

I could do it cycling --> dirct$(n) = ""

But it looks to me, it might be some simple/faster way??

I wanted to use ERASE and re-declare, but this seems ERASE will not to work inside SUB

Any advice please...
