I was at a friends shed yesterday looking at some of the stuff he had for sale, from his late fathers collection of stuff. I grabbed a nice 1960's era audio oscillator and a XT 5150 PC, I'll put those in a separate post. He also has 3 computer tape drives, pictured below.
He's looking for a home for these, something like a museum or hard core collector who would restore them or put them on display. They come with a bunch of tapes, some new in wrapper.
Anyone interested or can help? Is there a computer museum in Australia that would be interested? There would need to be some cash exchanged, like me he doesn't want to see them go to scrap, so would want more than scrap value as a way to rule out scappers.
