Hi Noneya, from what I read, Stef is living in a block of flats, and just plugging the inverter into powerpoint.
Definitely would not go down well in Australia.
So the way they have it connected could mean that they are feeding into one phase of a three phase system, and the meter is reading the imbalance as an import.
It would not be a way to do a grid connect that I would suggest. I am sure here the supply authorities would frown upon it.
