The Asian way is very good it has a really crispy texture on the bottom and cooked the way you like it on top.

Put a reasonable quantity of oil in a wok and get it hot (smoke point). Crack an egg into the oil and let it cook for 30s then ladle hot oil on top of the egg to cook the whites to preference. This will form bubbles in the white adding extra texture. Because of the hot oil and water in the egg this is dangerous so care needs to he taken with this method.

Season after it is served.
