A small update for the Linux users to test. MMCC now scans for available serial ports every 2 seconds and if there has been a change, pops up a short notice informing of the change. The pull-down list of ports now only includes ports that were found. Once the new version has been run, Users have to edit the MMCC.inf file to add any fixed serial ports they wish to include in the list of ports. Line 65: Linux fixed ports = change to Linux fixed ports = ttyS0 ttyS5 etc This is still not as user friendly as the Windows version but definitely an improvement. Extract the MMCC file from the attached ZIP and replace the file in the MMEdit folder. MMCC.zip Linux has a habit of changing the serial port designation whenever there has been reset of the pico and you are using the USB console. If there aren't any problems identified, I will include it in the next update. Jim Edited 2025-11-04 06:11 by TassyJim |
