That's because the tubes can't be fixed, and the point of impact  - since the tubes move - isn't constant. I found the xylophone/glockenspiel idea (metal plates) more convincing. But it's probably too late to change the concept. Perhaps this is simply due to a linguistic misunderstanding ("glockenspiel")? Kind regards Michael
