Hmm, bit of a performance hit for me.
Just a bunch of:
cntr=cntr+1
In a do loop to see what was happening in the main code while running four PIDs.
Old firmware: ~162,000
New firmware: ~158,000
With new performance feature: ~126,000
This is the count value over a period of two seconds.
