I had someone say this to me a number of years ago. I said "You did crimp them first, didn't you?". "No" was the reply with a blank look. Using the appropriate sized ferrules and then crimping with the appropriate crimper is very important. I do have the correct crimping tool but for size...well whatever I can find near enough at the time... Brian
