i ran accross this page 

so thought i would get my feet wet

and say aome darn thing i am retired and got a small mach shop here here home

have made some wind mills for the yard  they are on a 5 inch steel pipe  15 feet in the air

has twelve blade  30X8  the center has a pipe 14 whitch the bl;ade are welded to across  from tip to tip is  68

this thing will turn a good size generator

still trying to get the speed  gearing  right
