pinout questionre confused

Be careful, the right angle connector is backwards. I'm pretty sure pin 1 is marked on the board. If you used a straight connector instead of the right angle one then the notch should point to the edge of the board. Pin 1 is next to the keyboard connector and the edge of the board. The ribbon cable counts in order from 1 to 26. The IDC connector counts in a zig zag.
