Failure Rate?

Hi El Chuck, Try it on either composite video or VGA with a PS2 keyboard , if it works fine it s likely to be USB related, if the same it may be a dry joint around the pic cpu .. I seem to remember that you have the SM1 variety, have you added the extra cap across the power supply caps, not sure off hand which ones but you need to put a 22 uf cap across the smt caps that are conncted to the pic chip. Information is in this forum some where if you think that might be the case. Regards, Mick
