Thanks for your informative updates poida. I use two primary chokes, one the high frequency 3 or 4 turn ferrite affair on the high side and a non saturating 9 turn choke on the low side. This seems to work for me, switching on an abrasive cutoff saw on top of a steady 4KW load has not killed it yet. Klaus
