I'm doing just that on my experimental inverter. I call it the mad bar as he came up with that idea.
Mine is 20 x 3 mm alu bar long enough to cover all the mosfets on each individual heat sink.

Perhaps Poida can try that idea with his test rig and see if it makes a difference to the front heating. It certainly does a good clamping job.
