3v input problem....

It is the COM3 input pin, so unless this command pulls it up in the background..... The RXD output from the RF module is idle-high via 10k anyway. Goes perfectly without the divider and just using the built-in 1k series resistor, but it just makes me a little anxious applying 5v to what is technically a 3v3 input. Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops!
