Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi Poida.
First, thank you for your current project on the "Solar-Controller" .
I noted that you mentioned something that could be very helpful to our readers- caution when switching on solar controllers.
So, could you ,maybe, please compile the steps that you think we should observe when connecting, switching on ,off and any other necessary precautions handling solar controllers.
My reason for this helpful request comes from personal experience-blowing up a perfectly working controller ,all be it a cheap type, but I reckon it could happen to any controller.
Worst of all is the fact that I did not even think I had done something wrong.
As you have rightly mentioned, these mass produced parts are almost impossible to repair ,no circuits, most are
miniature surface mount components ,impossible for the average enthusiasts to replace.
Also , I have wondered if it is able to series controllers to use @ 48 volts ? Not many cheap controllers available @48 volts.? I've noticed parallel connection is ok ?.
