Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

I can only say the same as everyone else, great site.
I have always had a interest in mechanics,
I chanced on this site by accident, and got hooked,
The last two months I have been in my own shed, trying and trying.
the electric side of the wind turbine
is hard to understand,for me
I have tried about 5 motors up to now not much success, but refuse to accept defeat, much to the wife's annoyance,
I have gained quite a bit of knowledge about turbines,
and it is my fault alone that the technical side is hard to fathom,
I am still trying to build a turbine to charge batteries
So will keep harassing you lot thanks for a new interest, cheers frank
